Nashville Zoo
We went to the zoo on Saturday despite the blistering heat. Maybe the heat contributed to just how sensitive she was all day. We started with the DinoTrek exhibit which has trails that you follow and robotic dinosaurs along the path. They were far too realistic and scared the daughter to pieces. Her favorite part was running across the swinging bridge to the exit :)
The carousel terrified her equally. Rex asked her if she was being a big chicken and she agreed with an enthusiastic uh, huh! (we think she thought he was offering chicken). After a snack we tried the train. Somewhere she picked up saying choo choo and uses it appropriately for trains as well as for any large vehicle! Every time a truck is next to us on the interstate we hear "choo choo!" coming from the back seat.
On the ride you pass a couple of horses and she said "Neigh!"
Right before the bird nipped her finger. Fortunately she only freaked for a second before getting excited about the birds again.
